Thomas died before 1841. There is a possible burial on 20 Sep 1827 at Therfield St Mary, age 40, (born c1787), abode Therfield (ref fmp image).

Burial of Mary Warren 4 Dec 1854 at Reed, Hertfordshire; the burial record states she died in the Workhouse, Royston, and her age was "upwards of 70 yrs" (ref fmp image). This information definitely links her to the one above in the 1851 census, and from that, she was born in Therfield.

Witness to sister Sarah's marriage in 1809.

According to Percival Serle, Emily Watson's mother was formerly a Miss Bray. By searching through all possible records in the IGI and linking births in the Buntingford area with an 1891 census record that listed Fanny Wingate nee Bray (a niece of this Ann Bray) as a cousin of Edward Wood, the widower of Sarah Susan Wood nee Watson (ie a daughter of Ann Bray and John Watson), it has been possible to discover the large Bray family in this area of Hertfordshire and document them in this Family Tree.

Marr 9 Jun 1810 at Wyddial parish to John WATSON (ref IGI). John was bap 2 Nov 1775 at Royston, Hertfordshire, son of Thomas and Elizabeth (ref fmp image).

Marr 21 Jan 1823 at Throcking, Hertfordshire of Thomas Bray to Hannah PLYER; Thomas was of the parish of St Lukes Chelsea (where the first child was born) and Hannah was of the parish of Throcking; by Banns; witnesses Charles Plyer, Martha Plyer (ref fmp image). The surname Plyer is confirmed with the birth registrations of the last few children. Hannah's baptism not found c1801 at Sandon, Herts, and it is a very unusual name.
