2.		Richard DEMMENT Birth date not known but probably between 1657 and 1660. There is a section cut out of the register at this time. Marriage 5 Jun 1688 at Corscombe, Dorset, England of Rich. Demment to Martha WILTSHIRE (ref Ancestry, Dorset Baptisms, Marriages & Burials image). "Mary and Martha ye daughters of Wm. Wiltshire & Joane his wife were baptized ye 23 of February" [1661/62 at Misterton, Somerset] (ref Ancestry Somerset Baps Marriages & Burials). Other siblings were Robert and Elizabeth. Burial of Richard Demment [the surname is obscure] 17 Feb 1718/19 at Corscombe, Dorset (ref Ancestry, Dorset Baptisms Marriages & Burials image). Burial of Martha Dimont 17 Jan 1741/42 at Corscombe, Dorset (ref (ref Ancestry, Dorset Baptisms Marriages & Burials image). The alias of Andrews with the family name appears to include descendants of both John (2) and William. No explanation has been found. FROM WHOM FRED SHADE IS DESCENDED.
