Marriage Nov 1778, Licence Date 11 Nov 1778, at Wigston Magna, Leicestershire of Mary Boulter to Thomas BEECH; Thomas was 21 and upwards, Apothecary, bachelor, residence Wigston Magna; Mary was 21 and upwards, single, residence Wigston (ref fmp Leicestershire Marriage Licences).

She may have died by 1797, her father's Will, from which her two children received legacies.

Her parents moved to Oadby about 1763 (about 4 miles) but there is no equivalent marriage for a Mary Ward in Oadby.

Marriage 13 Mar 1787 at Wistow of Mary Ward to Thomas DRAKELEY; Thomas was of the parish of St Mary in Leicester, listed as Drakely on the Licence and Drakley in his signature; Mary was of the parish of Wistow (ref fmp Leicestershire Parish Registers image).

William's probate is registered in fmp for 1803; he was a Blacksmith of Kilby; the following people applied for probate: Ann Holyoak of Kilby in the County of Leicester Widow, John Read of Galby in the said County Butcher and Thomas Burdett of Newton Harcourt in the County of Leicester aforesaid Grazier (ref fmp Leicestershire Wills and Probate).

WILL OF ANN HOLYOAK [signed 20 Oct 1810, buried 24 Apr 1812, proved 1812]
"This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Holyoak of Newton Harcourt in the County of Leicester Widow. I give and bequeath to my son William Holyoak the sum of Ten pounds to be paid to him within one month after my decease and all the residue and remainder of my personal estate of every nature and kind I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Holyoak who now lives with me to and for her own use and disposal she paying thereout my just debts funeral and testamentary expences and I hereby appoint her my said Daughter sole Executrix of this my Will and revoke all others by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of October one thousand eight hundred and ten. The Mark of Ann Holyoak.

The remainder of the Holyoak children from 1798 onwards in Kilby are probably the children of William Holyoak and Ann Freeston who married in 1798; that William's baptism has not been found at Kilby.
