Joseph Benson BUNTING, born 11 Nov 1819, bap 8 May 1820, Church St Wesleyan, Spitalfields, London. Joseph died in 1891, death reg Mar qtr 1891 at Poole, Dorset.

This was Joseph Benson Bunting's second marriage. He firstly married Ann Eliza Martin (b. 1826 in Liverpool, Lancs) and they had 1 daughter Sarah Elizabeth BUNTING, born in 1855, in Hackney, Middlesex. Ann died in 1864.

Joseph Benson Bunting was a Customs House Officer, and was the youngest of 7 children. His parents were the Rev. Dr. Jabez Bunting DD (13 May 1779 - 16 Jun 1858) and Sarah nee Maclardie (26 Feb 1782 - 29 Sep 1835). This Jabez Bunting was the head of the Methodist Conference for many years and there are numerous references to him on the internet.

3. Mary Redfern BUNTING - born 13 Dec 1808 at Sheffield, Yorks, bap 26 Feb 1809 at Brunswick and Park Chapels Norfolk Street - Wesleyan, Sheffield, Yorkshire (ref IGI), married W.H. Armstrong, died 21 Oct 1835 at Antigua.
4. Thomas Percival BUNTING - born 19 Oct 1810 at Liverpool, Lancs, bap 20 Jan 1811 at Mount Pleasant Wesleyan, Liverpool, Lancashire (ref IGI), died 1885 at Bromley, Kent.
5. Emma BUNTING - born 7 Jan 1815 at Leeds, Yorkshire, bap 19 Feb 1815 at Oxford Place Formerly Albion Street Wesleyan, Leeds, Yorkshire (ref IGI), died after 1901.
6. Jabez BUNTING - born 10 Mar 1816, China Terrace Wesleyan, Lambeth, Surrey, no bap date (ref IGI).
7. Joseph Benson BUNTING - born 11 Nov 1819, bap 8 May 1820 at Church Street Wesleyan, Spitalfields, London (ref IGI), died 1891 at Poole, Dorset.
