There is DNA confirmation in the relationship between Libby Shade (confirmed descendant of William Dunsford) and a distant descendant of a sister of Ann Nicks. Bap of William Dunsford 4 May 1735 at Broad Clyst, Devon, son of Richard Dunsford (ref fmp). Burial of William Dunsford, Pauper, on 15 May 1786 at Broad Clyst, Devon, no age given (ref findmypast Devon burials). The index in Ancestry and FS state that it was male, on unknown evidence. This may in fact be Frances Nicks, the daughter added as number 7.

7.		Frances NICKS No baptism found. Assumed to fit here. This may be the child with unknown name as number 4. Born c1751 if burial is correct. There is DNA confirmation in the relationship between Libby Shade (known to be a descendant of William Dunsford above) and a distant descendant of this Frances. Also, the witness at her marriage, John Taylor, is the same person who was witness to the marriage of William Nicks and Mary Taylor above, and may have been Mary's father. (ref fmp Devon marriages image). If the burial is correct, she would have been born c1748 which seems a little early, but perhaps the age on the burial is incorrect.
