2.   Daniel POULAIN
Born 29 Nov 1752; bap 17 Dec 1752 at Threadneedle St French Huguenot, London (ref IGI).
His Godfather was probably Daniel Rollet (see Levesque tree). In 1753 Daniel had in his Will:
"
Also I give to my godson Daniel Poullain the sum of ten pounds."

In 1767 Daniel was indentured as an apprentice weaver. Some of the document is as follows:
"This Indenture witnesseth that Daniel Poulain, son of Isaac Poulain late of the parish of Saint Matthew, Bethnal Green, Weaver, doth put himself Apprentice to Charles Trenell, Citizen and WEAVER of London, and with him (after the Manner of an Apprentice) to serve from the day of the date hereof, unto the full end and term of seven years from thence next following, to be fully compleat and ended. ...... In Witness whereof, the Parties above named to these Indentures interchangeably have put their Hands and Seals the Second day of March in the Year of our Lord 1767 and in the seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great Britain etc. " (ref Ancestry, Freedon of the City Admission Papers)

He could not contract matrimony within the said term, so probably married between 1774 and 1776.
Married Elisabeth, surname unknown (ref baptisms of the children)
Their address was Elder Street 1776-1785, Norton Folgate 1784, Long Alley 1788-1795.
