The Smith Family of Gloucestershire and Kent

The first known generation of the Smith family for this website commences in Bristol.
Due to the name being extremely popular, it is difficult to go further back than about 1812,
when James Smith was born. His place of birth is unknown but he marrried in Bedminster,
Somerset (very near Bristol, Gloucestershire) and we have been able to trace many descendants.
