Elizabeth married (2) in 1902 in Victoria to Joseph Charles WHARTON (Vic reg 1851/1902 as Joseph). The name Charles appears in several records of his children, and in the electoral records. He was born c1873 (ref his death reg). Some of the addresses that Joseph Charles and Elizabeth Clara lived at were 7 Carnarvon Street, Auburn in 1909, 4 Alexander Street St Kilda East in 1915, and 6 Cardigan Street St Kilda East in 1919. In each of this his occupation was listed as Gardener. Died 1922 Melbourne; he signed a Will on 5 Mar 1922 and committed suicide (ref Trove and Victorian Wills and Probate).
