BICKLE Born c1590. Married Ann, surname unknown. Ann was the heiress of a tenement at Dipfordtown or Dippertown which was to remain in the Bickell family for almost 300 years. John and Ann were married before 10 Aug 1618, on which date they granted a lease to George Sargent of The Kitchen at Dippertown. "John became a trustee of Thorne in 1626 and was involved in the renewal of its lease in 1633." John appears to have died before 1641 when the only Bickell to Protest the Oath was a Robert Bickell.
