    Issue of John Bickle and Ann  
1.   Robert BICKLE
Born before 1622 when his life was added to the Dippertown lease.

In 1641, signed the Protestation Return at Milton Abbot, Devon as Robert Beckell; the first Bickle to be recorded in the parish (see online).
Married c1649 (date estimated, not found in fmp) Elizabeth, surname unknown.
Elizabeth said to be buried 12 Nov 1681, place not specified by AJCT (not found in fmp).

Ref Burial Register 1687 of Milton Abbot: Anno Dom: 1687. Robert Bickle Yeoman was buried the 11th day of April Anno ut Supra [in the year as above]. On the 17th day of ye same month received an Affidt [affidavid] under the hands and seales of Robert Bickle and Mary Oliver wth (?) attested the legall intermnt of the said Robert. (ref original in fmp) [It is not clear who Mary Oliver was.]

Married Roger SOPER.
She was still alive, the wife of Roger Soper, husbandman of Thrushelton, when the lease was extended in 1663.
Burial 10 Jan 1674 at Thrushelton, Elizabeth Soper, wife of Roger (ref fmp image in Latin).

3.   Richard BICKLE
Born c1625.
Alive in 1642 but died without issue.
His probable burial on 1 Feb 1714/15: Richard Bickell was buried the 1st day of February 1715 at Thrushelton (ref fmp image).

4.   George BICKLE
Born c1633. Assumed by AJCT to be a brother of the others.

Marr (1) 15 Jan 1677 at Marystow, Devon to Mary CHOLWILL. George BICKELL [BICKLE] and Mary CHOLLWILL [CHOLWELL] were marryed the 15th. of Januarye 1677 (ref fmp).

She was dau of John Cholwill, owner of a freehold estate at Cholwill; the estate passed in 1707 to the heirs of Mary (who had died by then) and her sister Honor.
There are two possible burials at Marystow of a Mary Bickle, the other probably being Mary the wife of Robert Bickle on the next generation.
These are 1692/93: Mary Bickle was buryed the fifth day of February, and 1694/95: Mary Bickle was buryed the 9th day of January - small pox. In the period between Dec 1693 and March 1694, 20 people died of small pox in Marystow. (All ref fmp Devon Burial Registers image)

Marr (2) 21 Sep 1697 at Marystow to Hannah BRIDGEMAN. George ...ICKELL [faded/penmanship, probably BICKELL, BICKLE] and Hannah BRIDGMAN were marryed the 21[st.] day of September 1697. (ref fmp).

George bur 11 Mar 1729/30 at Marystow, Devon, England aged almost an hundred (ref original in fmp).
Hannah's death not found.
