2.		Richard BRAY Bap of Richard Bray 23 Aug 1707 at Buckland, Hertfordshire; "Richard ye son of John Bray of Therfield Carpenter and Mary his wife" (ref fmp image). Burial of Richard Bray 6 Sep 1707 at Buckland, "Richard Bray of Therfield an Infant" (ref fmp image).
3.		Mary BRAY Bap of Mary Bray 5 Oct 1709 at Buckland, Hertfordshire; "Mary daughter of John Bray of Therfield and Mary his wife" (ref fmp image). Burial of Mary Bray 27 Apr 1759 at Buckland; "Mary (Daughter of John) Bray / Vid: Bapt 1709" (ref fmp image) The mother Mary, the daughter Mary and the father John were all buried in 1759, the first two being consecutive entries in the register.
4.		Sarah BRAY Bap of Sarah Bray 9 Sep 1712 at Buckland, Hertfordshire; "Sarah Dr of John & Mary Bray Therfield" (ref fmp image). Marr 25 Oct 1737 at Buckland of Sarah Bray to Henry PRIOR; both of Buckland parish (ref fmp image). Burials not found.

Marriage (1) 24 Dec 1741 at Therfield of Samuel Bray to Mary OAKMAN (ref fmp image). Burial of Mary Bray 8 Feb 1763 at Therfield, wife of Samuel (ref fmp image). Marriage (2) 2 Jul 1763 at Therfield of Samuel Bray to Elizabeth CLARK; Samuel Bray widower of this parish and Elizabeth Clark of this parish widow, by Banns, witnesses William Thompson, John Adkins (ref fmp image). No children found for Samuel and Elizabeth. Burial of Samuel Bray 28 Dec 1784 at Therfield, Carpenter and Schoolmaster (ref fmp image). Elizabeth's burial not found.

There is another burial 30 Mar 1732 at Buckland that I have allotted to Elizabeth Bray below because her family appears to have been in Buckland rather than Therfield.

Married 21 Jul 1745 at Wyddial, Hertfordshire to Elizabeth SMITH; "Henry Bray Jun. and Elizabeth Smith of the parish of Aspeden were married July 21st" (ref fmp image). Burial of Henry Bray 12 Oct 1781 at Wyddial; "Henry Bray buried Oct 12th 1781" (ref fmp image). Burial of Elizabeth Bray 15 May 1807 at Wyddial (ref fmp image). This makes sense of a possible burial for son Henry in 1792 as the son of the widow Bray. FROM WHOM ELIZABETH SHADE NEE GRIERSON IS DESCENDED.

There is another burial 25 Jan 1735/36 at Buckland that I have allotted to Elizabeth Bray above because her family appears to have been in Therfield.

3.		John BRAY Bap 15 Jul 1725 at Buckland, Hertfordshire, son of William Bray & Grace his wife (ref fmp image). Buried 31 Mar 1726 at Buckland; "John Bray inf" (ref fmp image).
4.		Sarah BRAY Bap 16 Apr 1727 at Buckland, Hertfordshire, dau of Wm Bray & Grace his wife, Therfield (ref fmp image). Married 7 Jun 1756 at Buckland of Sarah Bray to William KNIGHT (ref fmp). William Knight of the parish of Albury in the County of Hertford Batchelor and Sarah Bray of this Parish [BUCKLAND] Spinster were married in this Church by Banns this seventh day of June in 1756 by me ... Witnesses John Smith, George Franklyn (fmp image) Children not definite but not the Ickleford family, there was another marriage of William Knight to Sarah there. .
