It would have been William's father, William Hore, who was buried 28 Dec 1807 at Kilkhampton (reference Ancestry, Cornwall, Kilkhampton, regster book of the parish, but not found in Cornwall OPC transcriptions). The transcript of his Will in the National Archives dated 18th May 1808 states "under £300. William Hore of Kilkhampton Yoeman. Executor or administrator John Hore. Residuary Legatee. Grandson. Legacies and Bequests: All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods etc paying to my son William Hore £10 and to my Grandchildren £1.1. each."

William's birth and death are unknown.
William was an innkeeper (23 Aug 1838) and farmer (30 Dec 1845) (ref B.Chapple).

William died 5 Apr 1833 at Kilkhampton; bur 9 Apr 1833 at Kilkhampton age 52 (ref FMP) in the name of ANDREW.
The first record may be incorrect as the tombstone in Kilkhampton Anglican Church Graveyard has "Sacred to the memory of William Andrew. Late of Langford in this Parish. Who Departed this Life, April the 6th in the year of our Lord 1833 in the 52 year of his AGE." (ref C.Boorman 2011).
