Bap of Elizabeth Armstrong 16 Mar 1791 at Hutton Magna, dau of Henry and Elizabeth (ref fmp); her siblings are Mary baptised 24 Mar 1790, Sarah baptised 15 Feb 1795, Ann baptised 24 Sep 1797, Mark baptised 17 Aug 1800, and Phebe baptised 26 Jan 1803, all at Hutton Magna. The only possible marriage found for Henry and Elizabeth is that to Elizabeth Dobinson on 12 May 1789 at Haughton Le Skerne, Durham, but it is possible that this is before the recording of marriages in the Hutton Magna area.

This was the night of the 1841 census. The children lost both parents and a brother in the period 1837-1841; Elizabeth was buried on the day of the census and most of the children were gathered together for the census including the married elder daughter Mary.
