George had disappeared by 1857 (though may not have died till 1866) at which point there is a marriage in FreeBMD for Matilda Ann Main to Thomas Edward MILLARD at Hitchin dist in Mar qtr 1857. However this marriage is questionable as neither of the two marriages listed appear in fmp and Matilda's marriage is not in the register at Baldock (ref fmp image).
